What, if any, ingredients are in the patch?

One of the great things about the OSMO Patch is that it actually does not contain any ingredients. Ingredients are substances that are either ingested or intended to be absorbed into the body, and as such, ingredient labeling is commonly required for foods, cosmetics, drugs, and similar products.

The OSMO Patches however are classified as a Class 1 medical device. Being a Class 1 medical device means that there are actually no ingredients used in the product. The composition of the patches is neither ingested nor intended to be absorbed into the body. Therefore, unlike oral medicines or medicated slow-release transdermal patches, the OSMO Patch contains absolutely no drugs or other ingredients. They actually fall under the same classification as a band-aid or bandage, which also do not work via releasing active or inactive ingredients into the skin.

While the particular composition of the patch is a company trade secret*, the patches are made to stringent GMP standards. However, it is important to note that one of the compositions in the patch is the crustacean derivative ‘carapace powder,’ so if you are allergic to shellfish or seafood, then the patches should not be used.

Please be aware that labelling laws do not require a medical device to have an ingredients list for the reasons above. However, any material/s in the composition that may be a known allergen must be labelled.

Knee swelling and Pain

Hi Jasmine, After several years my wife finally tried your patch…she is a convert. Thanks for your continued help.

Achilles Enthesopathy

I used this patch from yesterday.

My first patch application was wonderful. I feel no pain and discomfort on my retrocalcaneal area.

After removal of patch I could see some fluid or discharges like a chocolate color discharge on my applied area.

Elbow bursitis

My elbow and shoulder were both injured at the same time, which were attended to by a highly respected orthopaedic physician.

After treatment, my shoulder fully recovered but the bursitis continued in full bloom. My doctor did not suggest draining it because the bursitis would likely return. After 7 weeks of no relief I researched the Internet for answers. That is when I discovered your product. On applying your patch to my elbow for 3 days the bursitis disappeared.

Simply amazing. Thank you!

I used the patch for 3 days and I do a difference in the size of the cyst, how many days in a row can the patch be used? Any restrictions?

Hello.

The patches arrived. Thank you very much.

I have used 3 and they are very good. They certainly draw the liquid away from the back of my knee.

Thanks very much

Knee problems

Dear Danniel,

I fell 1.5 meters landing on my patella. The pain was severe, after 2 weeks on crutches I was left with a fluid-filled bursa the size of half a golf-ball. I already had a swelling just below my kneecap for 5 years, and another specialist had thought this was probably a lipoma.

I’ve used 16 patches so far, in conjunction with acupuncture. The bursa began to shrink from the first patch, and is now almost gone. I’ve been able to return to my Taiji classes. What is more surprising is that the ‘lipoma’ also has almost vanished.

So, no invasive needle drainage for me, no surgery, and I’m recovering fast.

I am very impressed

Bursitis in my Elbow

Attention Toky, Customer care.

Hi Toky, just to say we’ve ordered 20 more patches as the first lot really improved the Bursitis in my Elbow. It reduced the pain mainly, but although it seems full of fluid in the mornings the swelling has not reduced greatly.

Mind you it’s quite an art fitting them firmly to an elbow and still being able to move!

Regards
