Like most people suffering from swelling, inflammation & the associated pain you probably answered yes to at least one or more of the above questions. If so then it's time to discover the OSMO Patch!
Below you will learn how the OSMO Patch combination with proper rest can help you on a natural journey to become pain free and regain your quality of life.
Firstly, it is important to understand a bit more about this condition before we discover the treatment options
Firstly… Are there any exercise for knee bursitis that you should or shouldn’t be doing?
Often when we talk to individuals with knee bursitis they are either continuing physical activates that may have initially contributed to the condition or they have began an exercise regimen to strengthen the area in the hope of reliving the symptoms.
Unfortunately, exercise for knee bursitis or other such physical activates only places more stress on the injury, resulting in further aggravating the condition.
While it is important to move around normally and not to be bedridden, you should listen to your body and ease off from any activity that is causing pain or placing stress on the knee. This includes leaning the knee on any hard surface.
In particular you should avoid any type of repetitive stress where possible. Even seemingly light repetitive movements if done continually over a period of time will cause irritation (such as long periods of use on a keyboard). Unfortunately ongoing irritation may lead to chronic bursitis in the knee and subsequent formation of fibrous scar tissue. Further resulting in additional inflammation.
So if you enjoy exercise, sports or participate in any physical activity we suggest that you take a break from these activities. Remember that a little sacrifice up front can give a great reward in the end.
Now while exercise for knee bursitis is not recommended while the condition is active, it may be useful once the condition has completely resolved to rebuild lost muscle mass and strength. This should be done gradually and in some cases it may be helpful to obtain guidance from a qualified physiotherapist to ensure you are doing this correctly.
Next… Should you be applying ice or heat for your knee bursitis pain?
There is so much misinformation out there about treating knee bursitis. Some people and websites say use ice while others suggest heat. So what is the answer?
When to use ice for treating knee bursitis?
Ice should be used during the first 24-72 hours after you first become aware of the condition or if you accidentally knock or irritate the area. While ice can also be used to reduce pain by numbing the area, it is unlikely to have any further benefit in reducing the remaining swelling after the initial 72 hrs has passed.
When to use heat for treating knee bursitis?
After the first 72 hrs has passed, then heat becomes the preferred options. This is due to the fact that heat promotes blood flow, which is necessary for the healing process. IMPORTANT: Do not use heat if an infection is suspected.
So.. What are the current treatment options for Knee Bursitis?
Treatment may begin with ice and rest in the first 24-72 hours of noticing knee pain or swelling. While this will hopefully minimize the degree of swelling which can then help expedite the recovery time, it is usually not enough to fully resolve knee bursitis pain and swelling.
Due to the minimal advancements in treating knee bursitis over the last decade your doctor will normally suggest one of the following treatments, assuming there is no infection present,
- Anti-inflammatory medication,
- Injection with cortisone steroid,
- Aspiration of excess fluid using a syringe (which can be extremely painful) or
- Even surgery may be suggested in extreme cases.
However if you are suffering from pain and prefer to try a natural treatment then the OSMO Patch is ideal considering that some of the treatments listed above may just not be suitable for certain people. There could be several reasons for this including;
- Having already used one or more of these treatments with little to no relief, or
- Some individuals may not be suitable candidates for these types of treatments due to their age or a pre-existing medical condition.
Alternatively you may consider such procedures as being unnecessary, painful and invasive. Then again you may just prefer to first try and use a natural treatment for your knee bursitis.
Fortunately… The OSMO Patch now offers an Intelligent Natural Alternative!
As the OSMO Patch has been especially designed to draw fluid from the body and to decrease swelling and pain in conditions such as knee bursitis, they are in fact the ideal non-invasive treatment for reducing pain and swelling in conditions involving knee inflammation.
All you do is simply place the OSMO Patch over the area of swelling or pain on the knee just before going to bed. The OSMO Patch can then begin to go to work while you sleep… removing fluid and also stimulating blood flow throughout the night. Then when you get up in the morning the used patch is then removed and discarded.
It is truly that simple >> Here are just a few examples of what people are saying after trying the OSMO Patch (See all here)
I had a sac of fluid to the upper-right of my knee. Quite large. Initially I had pulled my calf muscle and without realizing the extent of the pull, I continued to pursue my daily routine which consisted of morning workouts at the gym including “spin” class. Needless to say, I aggravated the whole situation. My leg became feverish, swollen and quite painful. The doctor diagnosed this as “possible” gout. It was only after the swelling went down did I notice the sac.
Upon searching myself for possible causes, I came across your site. Although it’s harmful, I believe, to diagnose oneself, bursa looked like a real possibility, and since it was a “natural” remedy, I didn’t think it would do any harm. I’ve had good results with other natural products, so why not give it a try.
After three days on the patch, I found that the sac pretty much dissolved. Was I going to heal anyway? Maybe. Was it the combination of natural healing and the stimulation of the patch? Maybe. In any event, I am now sac free.
I fell 1.5 metres onto the road, landing on my patella. The pain was severe, and after two weeks on crutches I was left with a fluid-filled bursa the size of half a golf-ball on my knee. I already had a swelling just below my kneecap for five years, and another specialist had thought this was probably a lipoma, or benign fatty tumour. An orthopaedic specialist at A&E told me it wasn’t a good idea to drain the fluid from the bursa due to the possibility of infection, and that the ‘lipoma’ could only be removed surgically.
I’ve used 16 of your patches so far, in conjunction with acupuncture. The bursa began to shrink from the first patch, and is now almost gone. I’ve been able to return to my Taiji classes. What is more surprising is that the ‘lipoma’ also has almost vanished: probably this ‘lipoma’ was in fact another bursitis, and not a lipoma at all.
So, no invasive needle drainage for me, no surgery, and I’m recovering fast. I’ve ordered another packet of OSMO patches, just to finish the job: I am very impressed.
Some time ago I corresponded with you and was duly sent 10 patches to try for bursitis of the knee. As I am a Carmelite Nun, our life is dedicated to prayer so kneeling is rather important!! I kept off the knee for a long time before trying the patches and found it helped to ease the condition, however it still felt painful to kneel.
I consulted my doctor where exactly to put the patch as there wasn’t overt visible swelling though it was puffy. He showed me, and after the first night, sure enough there were signs fluid had been drawn off. The second night the same. The area became flat and normal. I have gingerly begun kneeling again with knee pads. However I have noticed there is now no pain and the knee looks perfectly normal.
This was a couple of weeks ago and I thought I would give it a good go to make sure before informing you of the patches’ success! So that is good news and I am delighted. I have the other 8 patches now in case of recurrence or to help anyone else with the same.
I would also like to mention that your attitude to your customers is exemplary and obviously sincere. Thank you Toky! I am very grateful and will certainly recommend them. I hope this email gets through.
Thanks Every blessing
