The patches are applied and worn through the night and then discarded in the morning (single use). Normally one patch is worn each consecutive night (approx 8-10hrs) over the area affected, although more than one can be worn if required.

Ok, I have an arthritic knee from playing American football and having an operation when I was 18. Going to a doctor to have it drained would cost me well over $220. Last lot sure made a difference. I was able to not be awakened by an aching bursa during the night. One night before; was so bad that I had to sit in a lounge chair and ice my shoulder regularly through the night.

Thank you for your informative reply, I shall take notice of the hints and tips in your e-mail and will apply them during the treatment of my wife’s Trochanteric Bursitis.
It may interest you to know of the progress with the OSMO patches. Days 1 to 4 a small reduction in the swelling in the thigh. Days 4 to 7 a further reduction in swelling but no reduction in pain. Days 8 to 9 swelling almost gone and a big reduction in pain. We now await delivery of our second box of patches and hope the improvement continues.
