Am I doing something wrong as the patches were either just a little wet or totally dry?

The patches may vary in the quantity of fluid seen after use from person to person, however do not forget that the patches work in 2 ways. The first is by stimulating blood flow to the area which can prompt healing. The second is by removing excess fluid. This is the reason why it’s best to focus on how the actual area is improving instead of the visual appearance of the patches.

It’s important the patches maintain good contact with the skin and should be applied over the affected area just before going to sleep, or they may become loose and lose contact with the skin. Also strolling around a lot before bed can make the powder collect at the base of the patch. It is important that the powder is uniformly spread before applying the patch.

Some individuals have reported that the patches work better when a fine mist of water is sprayed directly on to the skin first prior to the patch being applied as this helps the patch to maintain good contact (It is important to properly dry the area of skin where the adhesive is to be applied if you use this approach).

Trochanteric Bursitis

Hello Jordan,

Thank you for your informative reply, I shall take notice of the hints and tips in your e-mail and will apply them during the treatment of my wife’s Trochanteric Bursitis.

It may interest you to know of the progress with the OSMO patches. Days 1 to 4 a small reduction in the swelling in the thigh. Days 4 to 7 a further reduction in swelling but no reduction in pain. Days 8 to 9 swelling almost gone and a big reduction in pain. We now await delivery of our second box of patches and hope the improvement continues.

Thanks for your assistance.

Baker's Cyst

I just want to let you know that I had a very painful Bakers Cyst behind my right knee. I had around 20 patches, one each night and the cyst has gone.

Such a great relief from the pain.

I am back again buying more as I have some fluid on top of the knee, but thought I would mention it to you.

Kind regards

Excruciating pain of bursitis

Please pass on my eternal thanks for this product. I would like to say how wonderful the patches are.  I am proof that they work. I am 80 years old and had the excruciating pain of bursitis for 10 days. I used up three boxes of painkillers to no avail.  Then in desperation looked on […]

Hip bursitis

Hi Toky,

I have received my patches and used one last night on my hip. It’s an absolute miracle!!

I have been suffering on and off for 3 years with Bursitis on my left hip. My GP has given me cortisone injections and anti-inflammatories, both of which have given some relief but not lasted and certainly not to this effect. I am due to have physio in the near future also.

I appreciate it has not cured the cause, but at least now I can work on that without the constant pain, and worse off all the lack of sleep.

A big thank you

Joint Pain

These are honestly the best pain patches of them all. I have tried 4 other brands before finding the OSMO Patch. They don’t get rid of the pain, but they certainly make things bearable.
