I had what a nurse practioner at St. Thomas’ Hospital in London called ‘that huge bursa’ on my right knee as a direct result of falling from the top of a railway staircase when the city was inundated with a snowfall and resulting ice. Shoulder bursitis

Hi,

Swollen elbow almost half the size of a tennis bal

After noticing a swollen lump on my elbow almost half the size of a tennis ball, I visited my doctor who explained it was a bursa and could be drained but would likely re-occur. Like others, I found your website and decided to “give it a go” although being a little skeptical.

Bursitis in shoulder & elbow

Hi, I have had bursitis in my right shoulder for more than 3 years, after about 6 months of physio, I still have a lot of pain. Hello!

I am writing to sing your praises! I am not kidding. I was first diagnosed with a Baker’s cyst approximately three months ago. The pain became increasingly intense, so I finally made an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon. He explained that the cyst was most likely the result from a torn meniscus and that I would require surgery. In the meantime, my patches I had ordered arrived, so I had used five patches by the time I returned to the orthopedic surgeon for the follow up for my MTI.
