I was diagnosed with severe bursitis in my left elbow in mid February. I saw an orthopaedist in March who attempted to aspirate my bursa and also injected cortisone in the bursa. This treatment had absolutely no effect. A couple of weeks later the same doctor successfully aspirated over 30 cc’s of fluid from my elbow. The next day all of the fluid had returned – my elbow was swollen up to the size of a golf ball. The only alternative the doctor had was surgery, which he pointed out often had limited success.

I ordered an initial dose of ten patches, which greatly diminished the swelling. Results of the patches are very apparent when removed in the morning after wearing one all night. Hip bursitis

Hi Toky,

I have received my patches and used one last night on my hip. It’s an absolute miracle!!

I have been suffering on and off for 3 years with Bursitis on my left hip. My GP has given me cortisone injections and anti-inflammatories, both of which have given some relief but not lasted and certainly not to this effect. I am due to have physio in the near future also.

Shoulder bursitis and tendentious

Eight years ago I had a work place accident and injured my left shoulder. After extensive physio & sports rehab the doctors advised me to get cortisone injections. Not only was this a painful procedure, it didn’t work! Thank you for your informative reply, I shall take notice of the hints and tips in your e-mail and will apply them during the treatment of my wife’s Trochanteric Bursitis.

It may interest you to know of the progress with the OSMO patches. Days 1 to 4 a small reduction in the swelling in the thigh. Days 4 to 7 a further reduction in swelling but no reduction in pain. Days 8 to 9 swelling almost gone and a big reduction in pain. We now await delivery of our second box of patches and hope the improvement continues.
