I was diagnosed with severe bursitis in my left elbow in mid February. I saw an orthopaedist in March who attempted to aspirate my bursa and also injected cortisone in the bursa. This treatment had absolutely no effect. A couple of weeks later the same doctor successfully aspirated over 30 cc’s of fluid from my elbow. The next day all of the fluid had returned – my elbow was swollen up to the size of a golf ball. The only alternative the doctor had was surgery, which he pointed out often had limited success.

Bursitis on elbow

Shoulder bursitis

Hi,

I just reordered some of those wonderful patches. I also wanted to leave some feedback. I’ve used the patches once before for my shoulder bursitis. The most pain I have is at night, and it is very hard to sleep.

Shoulder bursitis and tendentious

Eight years ago I had a work place accident and injured my left shoulder. After extensive physio & sports rehab the doctors advised me to get cortisone injections. Not only was this a painful procedure, it didn’t work! Swollen elbow almost half the size of a tennis bal

After noticing a swollen lump on my elbow almost half the size of a tennis ball, I visited my doctor who explained it was a bursa and could be drained but would likely re-occur. Like others, I found your website and decided to “give it a go” although being a little skeptical.
