I had a sore hip muscle at the back of my hip. The Dr. said we will drain the fluid out then give you a Cortisone shot. I said no way my hip was so sore it was painful sitting and going up stairs.

Hi, I have been using the patches for a bakers cyst caused by torn miniscus. The patch takes care of it but in comes back in about a week. Is it safe to use a patch a week for an indefinite amount of time? Thank you,
I was diagnosed with severe bursitis in my left elbow, and I saw an orthopaedist who attempted to aspirate it and also injected cortisone with absolutely no effect.
A couple of weeks later, he aspirated over 30 cc’s of fluid, and the next day all the fluid had returned. The only alternative offered was surgery, which he pointed out had limited success. Back in July I hurt my knee, and later formed a baker’s cyst…it got so bad that I could not bend my knee without a lot of pain. I had to walk with my leg stiff at all times.

I’ve had bakers cyst under my knee cap for 5 years and I’ve been in constant agony and haven’t been able to bend my knee for 5 years.

Hi, My 81-year-old mother has been suffering from hip bursitis for several years.
